The TRIMFIX® PLATINUM® II flap disc offers outstanding stock removal and durability, especially for metals that are difficult to machine, such as stainless steel. The grinding cloth consists of 100% pure ceramic grain of the second generation (Blue Ceramic) and thus offers an enormous time-spawn volume with cool grinding at the same time. This means that even very hard metals can now be ground in the shortest possible time. In combination with the proven TRIMFIX® natural fibre backing plate, this disc is particularly user-friendly and environmentally friendly.

Features:

• For the first time, 100% ceramic, micro-crystalline grain content for difficult-to-machine materials from the stainless steel groups (INOX).
• Thanks to the 40/60 mixed grit, only 1 grit is required.
• Previously unrivalled removal rate and time-spawn volume compared to all previously tested commercially available abrasive cloth types.
• Especially cool grinding, no heat dis-coloration, thanks to high cutting speed due to micro-crystalline cutting edge expansion and cooling agents.
• Very strong material removal on stainless steel, with simultaneous fine grinding pattern (further work steps can often be dispensed with).
• Also suitable for other metals, but offers enormous increase in performance on stainless steel.
